Our journey begins at the illy roastery. Here, the coffee beans are roasted using a traditional process. Roasting is a decisive factor for the taste of the coffee. At illy, the roasting process is perfected so that the aromas of the coffee beans are brought out to their best advantage.
After roasting, the coffee beans are transported to a coffee roasting plant in Germany. There they were processed into an espresso by a barista. The preparation of an espresso is an art that requires a great deal of skill and experience. The barista has perfected it to create an espresso with a perfect taste and aroma.
